PostgresA real PostgreSQL 18 database. Any driver, any ORM, through PgBouncer and TLS.

- 01
Name it
Pick a label. Hive places it on the server with the most room and gives it its own role.
- 02
Take a key
Read, write, all databases or one. Shown once, stored only as a hash.
- 03
Ship
Connect your ORM, call REST from your frontend, or point an agent at MCP.
02How is each database kept apart?Every cell sealed.
The whole thing shared.
Each database is its own PostgreSQL database with its own owner role, and CONNECT is revoked from every other role, so no tenant can reach another's data. GraphQL runs as roles limited to your tables, and API keys are scoped to read or write, and to one database or all.
- Pooled
PgBouncer in transaction mode in front of every server.
- Encrypted
TLS from your app to PgBouncer to Postgres. Credentials encrypted at rest.
- Scoped keys
Read or write, one database or all. Revoke in a click.
- Isolated
One database and one role per tenant. CONNECT revoked from everyone else.
- Origins
Call REST from the browser, from the sites you allow.
- Quotas
Storage checked every 10 minutes. Over the limit, databases pause; nothing is deleted.
- Ringgit
Plans priced in RM, paid through Billplz. No card required to start.

05Questions about HornetHiveAsked before you sign up.
Is it real Postgres?+
Yes. Each database is a PostgreSQL 18 database of its own, with its own owner role. Use psql, pg_dump, Prisma, Drizzle, SQLAlchemy, Laravel — anything that speaks Postgres. Direct connection strings come with the plans that include them; every plan gets REST and GraphQL.
Where are the servers?+
In Malaysia. You choose the region when you create a database; Singapore and Japan are coming. Apps hosted in Malaysia reach their database without a round trip abroad.
Is there a free PostgreSQL plan?+
Yes: one database with 500 MB of storage and 500K API calls a month, REST and GraphQL included, free forever and with no card. Upgrade when you need more databases or room.
What happens when I hit my storage limit?+
Your databases pause: connections, REST and GraphQL are refused until you are back under the limit, by upgrading or deleting a database. Nothing is deleted for you, and they resume on their own within ten minutes.
Can I back up my database?+
Yes, on every plan. Create a backup from the database page and download it as a .tar file within the hour, then restore it anywhere with pg_restore.
Can I use it from the browser?+
Yes, through REST with a read-only key, from the origins you register. Keep write keys on your server.
How do AI agents connect?+
Over MCP (Streamable HTTP) with an API key, from Claude, Cursor or any MCP client. A key can be limited to read, or to a single database, so an agent only touches what you give it.
How do I pay?+
In Ringgit, through Billplz: FPX online banking or card. Paid plans are billed a year at a time, with no auto-renewal to surprise you. Moving to another paid plan carries the time you have left over, converted at the new price.
